Compost Filter Berms - Compost Filter Berms are the newest BMP ensuring compliance with upcoming Phase 11 regulations These berms are installed using Cedar Grove Compost to ensure proper performance. Created wherever necessary to control runoff and protect areas that are sensitive to high sediment erosion, these 100% natural, biodegradable, all organic structures keep soil in specific areas without allowing them to migrate to offsite locations.

Compost Blankets - These 'blankets' of specially manufactured Cedar Grove Compost create a natural, instantaneous erosion control cover that prevents sheet erosion from exposed or denuded sites. The specially screened and certified compost knits together in place to the slopes naturally, up to a 2:1 grade. No other materials are necessary. Field results verify that these blankets are 90-98% effective at preventing erosion at the source.
